After many internet searches and show visits we purchased an Altitude forward fold camper trailer several years ago. Altitude are one of the very few companies to use Australian canvas, install Australian electrical components and use trades people for all the installations, including gas, even the tropical roof doesn’t flap noisily in the wind. Our trip up the East coast of Australia for 3 months, all the way to the tip of Cape York was a breeze, easy to set up each night and no dust ingress. We decided to sell our forward fold camper trailer due to health issues. So more researching, show visits to choose a Hybrid van. There are a lot out there but once again we chose Altitude. The Ascent15 hybrid for much the same reasons as we chose previous, all quality components and everything is checked/tightened or adjusted before handover by qualified personnel. Dan and Glen at Van Hub could not have been more helpful to the point of making some minor changes and even helping with the sale of our camper trailer. Thanks Brian, Carolyn, Dan and Glen, we are very happy with our van.
We’ve been travelling in our Alpine for about a year now. Having had a camper trailer for many years, we knew we wanted something that would offer more in terms of creature comforts but still have that outdoorsy style – we wanted to cook and eat outside rather than hiding away inside a caravan or motorhome. The Alpine fits that brief perfectly. We’ve taken it through mud, sand and rocks, on the highway and on dirt, and it’s taken them in its stride. It has all the little things that make a big difference: our own bathroom, hot and cold running water, power points and USB outlets by the bed, heaps of storage. And the fittings are high quality – great brands and good finishes such as soft closing drawers. The after sales service and support has been responsive and helpful, with great attention to detail.
